Goddess of Creativity
Required Reading for Arts ProfessionalsWalking in this World, not only touched my spirit, it sparked my desire to write again after winning a book award left me termporarily burned out and off kilter.
Cameron's sections on how to overcome the internal and outside perils of success are sensitive and practical. I especially liked how she drew on examples from her own life and the lives of professional writers, musicians and artists to illustrate her points.
The most important thing I carried away from this book was the confirmation that there's nothing wrong with being versatile and multi-talented. Building a career, making a name in one genre or art form isn't the only option. If I'm called to write a novel or take up visual art, I can choose to do it and I'm not a quitter or crazy no matter what my upbringing or my agent say. I needed to hear that.
Art, music and writing schools don't teach this material. They should.
Quite a good sequel!-d

War of the Wardrobes is another great olsen book!Mary-Kate agrees to help Ashley ban uniforms forever. But they'll have to work fast-or face a fashionless future!
I found all of that information on the back of the book. It's a pretty good book. I have 17 two of a kind books, and this was a pretty good book. If you are an olsen fan, then I recommend that you read this book and all the other ones!!!
War of the wardrobeI liked this book because they didn't just stand there and let something they didn't like happen. They didn't want uniforms! Even if they got in trouble they still didn't want uniforms.
I would suggest this book to people who are into fashion and wardrobes and chapter books. If you want to find out what happens read War of the Wardrobe. Have fun!
OMG

Couldn't put it down! Here's a little background on the book
Grissom and Sara go to a Forensics Convention and encounter a major blizzard that traps them in the hotel and they find a dead body in the woods and they and a few others have to guard the body on 2 hour shifts until the blizzard ends
Warrick, Catherine and Nick find a dead body in a state park that was wet but wasn't swimming and later figure out that she was frozen and also found another body in a landfill
That's all i'm gonna tell ya! I don't wanna ruin it for you so if you wanna find out what happens buy this book now, believe me you won't regret it!
If you love the show, this book is for youI love CSI and I loved the book
This Was The Best

A little to basic.
Almost like painting by numbersBesides being entertaining and easy to read, the book provides a great comparison of the Palms so that the reader is aware of the strengths and room-for-improvement (like memory limitations)of the unit he/she has, or is planning to buy.
A chapter on other resources besides 3com was extremely helpful. Like any new owner, it is predictable to search all kinds of information for buyer assurance, and then some.
The book walked me through several "exercises" that I felt confident enough to use the Palm after just one reading.
This is an excellent reference. Thanks for all the other reviewers who reinforced my decision to get this book.
Extremely helpful for "Late Adaptors"Only thing I was surprised about was that this book assumes the readers will opt for the Palm Desktop as their Personal Information Manager. I use Microsoft Outlook extensively, and don't want to switch, especially since I already have so much info programmed in Outlook.
Otherwise this was just perfect. So happy to note that even though there are later versions of the Palm, my baby has lots of room to grow!

Good enough for a pocket dictionary
Good enough for a pocket dictionary
Not BadNotice the absence of some words due to its compact size.
Never understood how people are able to figure out how to pronounce words using a dictionary, thus don't be surprise if your pronunciation doesn't make you pass for a Brazilian.
As a Portuguese speaker myself, I judge this little book can be some help for those that don't have the disposition to carry an encyclopedia collection in their backpack.
good for a quick reference but not carry any deep conversation. [....]

A brief but useful reference book
Excellent quick reference, but its small, really small
This is one of the best books I've ever read

Avoid at all costs

I've been waiting for a book like this!
